@hansen Too early for you?π We missed you. I was hoping to strike up some debate for old time's sake. My summary was - take risks.
Life happens π We'll be posting the Midway discussion video very soon (by EOW) and you can comment on that post with your ideas/questions/takeaways @hansen@hansen (you too @will-smith@will-smith) π
Then we'll see you on the book retrospective at the end of September @hansen .

Hi all. How can I sign up to the next zoom call? Still getting the hang of this, please bare with moi π
Hey Rick, not to worry - I think @luke is running the calendar so sending this note as a prompt to check you're on the invite - I assume he's used the same email as you registered to Keyy with.
Awesome! Thank you Paul. Look forward to hearing from @luke π
At the beginning of each quarter, we send out a book club sign up where folks can join that quarter's club and tell us what topics they want to learn about. Keep your eyes peeled for the next one.
But in the meantime, happy to add you to the next meetup for this quarter π @rick@rick
The book we're reading this quarter is, "The Hard Things about Hard Things" by Ben Horowitz. The next meeting is the retrospective = everyone's work to complete the book by then so we can discuss it. π
Midway Discussion Recording
Here's the recording of the midway discussion on "The Hard Things About Hard Things" chapters 1-4.
For those who didn't attend live --> We'd still love to hear from you. Drop your ideas, comments, questions, and takeaways in the comments of the recording post. π π

Who's pumped for Wednesday's retrospective on "The Hard Things About Hard Things?" π

We will be discussing the second 1/2 of the book. So make sure to finish up your reading and/or refresh your mind on the topics and ideas.
Please come with some ideas, questions, and tactics to share with the group. Talk then! π
I thought the last half of the book had more application in my circumstance. Should be a good discussion.
Heart dismayed and broken for my inability to be present that this beautiful gathering (My bad attempt to sound shakespearean π)
Have a job interview at the same time.
Happy to say that the book is being read, and what a book! So needed in my life atm.

Dang it! Iβm not going to be able to join todayβs live book club session. Iβll check out the replay and then will meet you all in the comments.
You will be missed @andrea ! Sounds good, we'll follow up with the recording and next steps for Q4's book club. π π
Great discussion today - thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. Looking forward to finding out the next book choice.

Yes Yes Yes - these are always an amazing way for me to start my day βοΈ
Thanks everyone who came and participated - great discussion. Makes my job easy when I can open with "What did you think of the book" and then we dive into 45 mins of amazing discussion. π
Those who couldn't attend - I'll post a recap, including recording, in the next 1-2 days. This recap will also include information about the Q4 book club which is about to kick off πΊ
