What would you like to know when it comes to using video and HubSpot?March 2, 2021 at 3:47pm
I'm doing a talk on video at the Manchester HUG, at the end of March. What would you want to know when it comes to all things video, inbound and HubSpot?
Drop your questions here in this thread, please!

I find it incredibly frustrating that we can't schedule video on social on personal profiles. Is there are reason for this, is it not best practice to share video on colleague profiles?
Also - I had a chat with a linkedin adviser recently who said that video was best placed as a brand building medium on linkedin and that you were best off using images for more sales orientated posts. I probably need to compare posts with and without video for sales focused posts. But what is your take on this?

Appreciate the questions, nice one 👍
For the social specific questions:
Regarding video in sales:
Personally, we've seen video have an increasing impact in the sales process!
1-1 video based messages have astounding results on sales.
For example, HubSpot attribute their 4x increase in sales meetings to using video (Vidyard specifically).
Personally at D22, we've seen using video in sales processes influence near enough all of our sales. We were very humbled to get an award for it, in fact.
Hope you don't avoid using video for the sales stage of the Buyer's Journey - is my take on it!
You can connect your personal LinkedIn/Twitter accounts in HubSpot and schedule posts to go out from there. Natively, however, most platforms don't offer the option to do this. There are a few third-party tools out there that support this function but the general idea is that the social giants want the majority of the conversation coming from personal accounts to happen in real-time. There are also issues of privacy and which third party organisations can collect your personal data. I believe that Facebook is the most strict with this rule and you'll struggle to find a legit tool that lets you schedule posts to your personal profile.
I hope that helps answer your question?
It'd be great to get some tips on how to start utilising video in nurturing workflows and the potential impact that could have on improving lead generation.

Apart from Dan's question, we would be interested in seeing if there are any insights on the best performing vid types per social medium (i.e duration of the video, times of vid posting, which countries post more vid posts on social media etc.).
